EPSOM UNION

The Union workhouse is a building in the Elizabethan style & presents an appearance superior to most buildings of this class.  It will contain 350 inmates. The Board of Guardians meet at the workhouse every Wednesday.

  • Leatherhead
  • Stoke D'Abernon

Epsom Union Workhouse was erected in 1836 off Dorking Road, to accommodate 300 inmates.
The Infirmary was rebuilt in 1882 and could provide 120 beds.
